In plein air works incompleteness and understatement are good. They are not painted in nature and “absorb” the energy of plants and flowers. They are juicy studies that are good both alone and as a collection on one wall, for example. I have a lot of hydrangeas in my garden, but I painted this work in the park early in the morning. I managed to write before the scorching summer sun:) and caught the morning lightness and transparency of the air and colors.
The picture is painted in my “watercolor style”. Thanks to loose strokes there is a feeling that the work “breathes”. In some places the canvas seems to glow. This gives the painting a special charm.
