Wildflowers. July

This is the first painting after vacation. In the morning I picked a bouquet of wildflowers that grow in my garden. I painted the flowers on the veranda. About an hour later it began to pour, and it was so nice to work on the veranda, protected from the rain. The light was perfect: clear, soft, no bright rays. If it hadn't been for the wind, I would have been writing outside. But I had to go inside. I finished the painting in my studio.
It is full of expression and spontaneity, just like the wildflowers, in which there is no strictness and clarity of lines. And that is their beauty.

The painting is painted in my “watercolor style”.
Thanks to loose strokes there is a feeling that the work “breathes”.
In some places the canvas seems to glow. This gives the painting a special charm.
